Arby’s Lagging Behind
At Slate.com, Daniel Gross writes about the problems at Arby’s. The skinny: they’re losing money. Gross stops short of predicting that Arby’s will go the way of Circuit City, but the picture is still gloomy.
Among fast food choices, Arby’s is a favorite for my family. They have the cleanest stores and nicest seating areas—at least that’s true of the newer ones. But Arby’s is expensive. And except for a couple of salads, there’s really nothing on the menu that comes close to a simple, healthy meal.
Seriously, how much cheddar cheese can one consume on the way to Olympic glory, or even on the way to basic good health?
